Locals know the town of Hammonton as the Blueberry Capital of the world, the home of three South Jersey vineyards - Plagido’s Winery, DiMatteo Vineyards and Tomasello Winery - and as the most Italian town in the United States since formalizing their ‘sister city’ relationship with San Gregorio da Sassola, Italy.
Lenore Frances Homes & Interiors has also been privileged to contribute to Hammonton through two designer show houses benefiting the Hammonton Historical Society. The first of which awarded her a People’s Choice award, her second, for the design of the 3rd floor hall and home theater of a Painted Lady Victorian at 404 Bellevue Avenue.
Through her participation with the show house, she has been fortunate to develop a long standing client and friendship with Joe and Marie, a couple living on Hammonton Lake. It turns out that Joe’s family were friends with Lenore's mother’s family when they were kids in South Philly. These stories always go back to family. Joe, Marie and Lenore have been remodeling and redesigning their 1970’s ranch style home in phases over the past 5 years.
If you have an older house that needs some care and updating, Lenore Frances Home & Interiors enjoys working with clients to remove the harvest gold, green, or even pink fixtures in bathrooms, bring light and life into dark paneled rooms, as well as repurpose, refinish, and reupholster good quality furnishings worth keeping.
